Our Year 3 and 4 children are utilising their place value knowledge and learning to accurately measure length with rulers and tape measures, by drawing animals to actual size and converting between metres, centimetres and millimetres.

The 1/2 students went to Chesterfield Farm as part of their integrated unit Paddock to Plate. They milked a cow, rode on a tractor, fed farm animals and observed baby animals. It was a fantastic day and the students thoroughly enjoyed it.

Last week, the Preps experimented with making bubbles using Morning Fresh, glycerine and water. The students made their own bubble wands using pipe cleaners. They had lots of fun making bubbles!
