On Monday our Preps visited the Melbourne Aquarium.
They had a wonderful day exploring underwater habitats, touching shark eggs and even winking at the penguins!
We discovered clown fish wear layers of mucus to protect themselves from sea anemones and that a shark egg case is made from keratin, which is similar to the material from our hair and nails.
We are especially proud to mention that our guide Mel, thought the Prep’s were fantastic listeners and very respectful of the Aquarium environment.
