Senior School 5-6
Senior students are encouraged to apply for leadership positions which enable them to participate in the running of the school. Senior students run weekly assemblies, manage the issuing of sports equipment, organise the Junior School Council and take part in activities designed to give them more responsibility, enhance their leadership skills, and to prepare them for an effective transition into secondary schooling.
Students in the Senior School are taught to be curious, responsible and organised in their approach to learning. They are encouraged to use a personal diary which helps to prepare them for grade seven. Croydon Primary School enables all students to use iPads and laptop computers so they are able to work across both platforms. Our senior students are also given foundation lessons in German in order to prepare them for the language taught in most of the high schools in our area.
